The Heurston Group PLC (Heurston) is pleased to announce that its subsidiary, Streamark, has reached a partnership agreement with CONAX AS, Norway – a leading global specialist in Digital Rights Management (DRM)
DRM is a systematic approach to copyright protection for digital media. The purpose of DRM is to prevent unauthorized redistribution of digital media and restrict the ways consumers can copy content they’ve purchased.
The agreement provides Streamark with a globally recognized studio proof Digital Rights Management system – Conax Contego. This allows Streamark to address one of its key customer requirements – which is the security and management of their content from encoding to delivery.
“Conax is unquestionably recognized as a world leader in Digital Rights Management and in this context an association with Conax significantly enhances our offering. The Conax DRM is the only part of our platform that is not proprietary but it gives our clients confidence that we have a reliable security infrastructure to handle their content” commented Misha Pigulea, (Director of Streamark)
This provides Streamark with an opportunity to be introduced to Conax’s large global customer base, which is in excess of 400 operators across 85 countries.
This agreement also has strategic importance, as it represents a strong endorsement of the Streamark technology. This was showcased at the recent CommunicAsia 2017 expo in Singapore where Peter Flynn from the Heurston Group was invited by Conax to take part in an interview to illustrate the nature and benefits of the partnership.
